Some of the kids and families we helped this past Christmas.
Dad was easily distracted.
Notice the really big toy in the middle? Well this mom, gave up the spot for her 2 year old daughter so a child in a shelter could get a toy. Since she didn't want to disappoint her daughter, she didn't bring her, but we don't work like that. Since mom was so much into the spirit of sharing we made sure there was something extra special for her daughter.

Chicana Action Service Center Ladies
Thanks to a presentation by Cindy (far left), we were notified about the need for toys for the women in their domestic violence shelters. They sent us the names and we made sure each kid in their shelter received his or her very own, individually wrapped toy.
